Designed as a creative exercise from a given prompt, this illustration features a vibrant sunset gradient with palm trees, which was refined through iteration to incorporate water and sun for a more dynamic and visually engaging scene.

This illustration was an exercise in experimenting with diverse shapes, styles, and color palettes. It prominently features my passion for the free and fun aesthetic of the 70s, a recurring theme in my work.

This illustration, a hybrid of line art and modern art, was created for an Illustrator course. The subject is designed to seamlessly blend with the surrounding butterflies and flowers, conveying a message of unity with nature.

Groovy Poster: 

Designed as my final project for an Illustrator course, this piece captures a vibrant 70s aesthetic. It features a repeating 'groovy' text background, iconic era-specific colors, and a woman styled with the period's characteristic bob and makeup.

Butterfly Effect: 

A conceptual piece featuring favorite themes like butterflies and lavender fields. This project also served as an experiment with Illustrator's AI tools to explore their integration into the art workflow and enhance design process efficiency.

A simple graphic created to express a personal passion for music, featuring a minimalist representation of a piano against a clean background.

Created from a design prompt, this illustration features a childlike aesthetic, aiming to evoke the wonder and dreams of stars and space often associated with childhood.

Pixel Cat: 

My very first illustration created in Illustrator, this assignment focused on precise grid-based design. It utilizes individual colored boxes to form a unique pixel art image of a cat with toast on its head.

Created as an experiment with Illustrator's AI Pattern tool, this fun and childlike pattern design was envisioned for use on a little boy's bed.

Inspired by the animal illustrations at the St. Louis Zoo, this piece explores a vibrant subject set against a minimalist background to maximize visual impact and focus.

Evolution of Photography: 

Designed to express my passion for photography, this piece showcases four cameras from different eras, each rendered in the popular colors of its respective time to highlight stylistic evolution.

Dancing In The Summer Breeze: 

Created for a Photoshop course to demonstrate drawing skill and software efficiency, utilizing a custom splatter brush for the background and expressive line art. The piece was inspired by my daughter's dancing, she loves to dance, and I often watch her dance in the backyard near our flower garden, this piece reimagines what an older version of her dancing freely would look like.
